What medical assistant certifications do you prepare me for?

Our classes prepare you to test for your National Healthcareer Association’s medical assistant certification online or in person.

How does your job guarantee work?

Your coach will work with you to help you find a healthcare job after you obtain your national certification. You get a full tuition refund (minus $59 registration fee) if you don’t get a job offer within 6 months of obtaining your national certification. The Medical Assistant program is the only program to have a job guarantee.

Q: What tuition payment options are available?

Q: Is the program online or in-person?

The medical assistant program is 100% online. The medical assistant program is followed by an optional in-person unpaid internship. Stepful has partnerships with clinics across the nation and will do its best to find a clinic in a convenient location for the student. The phlebotomy and EKG training programs have one week in-person clinical in Manhattan, New York.

What is the refund policy?

A student who cancels before the first week of class receives all monies paid with the exception of the $59 non-refundable registration fee. Thereafter, the student who cancels receives a prorated refund.

What tuition payment options are available?

Students have the option to pay upfront or in bi-weekly installments. We offer one of the most affordable pathways to Surgical Technologist Certification in the United States. Scholarships are available for new students, apply today to find out how much the program will cost for you.

What are the requirements to enroll in your surgical technologist program?

You need a copy of your high school or GED diploma and a stable internet connection. Additionally, you will need to pass a background check and drug test. Don’t worry about that! We will help you complete your tests and checks as part of your enrollment process to ensure that you’re employable in the surgical technologist field. You must be 18 years old by the graduation date of your selected class time.

Is the program online or in-person?

The learning portion of Stepful's Surgical Technologist program is 4 months long, 100% online. This is followed by an unpaid in-person clinical externship where the student will complete 125 first-scrub clinical cases (operating room procedures).
