Here at Stepful, we offer an accredited online pharmacy technician program with financial aid. Many students are eligible for our scholarships and we also offer a flexible payment plan that allows you to spread your payments out over time.
Note that federal financial aid cannot be used to pay for Stepful’s pharmacy tech classes. With that being said, there are still other ways to get financial support if you’re interested in joining our program.

Scholarships for Stepful’s Pharmacy Tech Program
Pharmacy technician students may be eligible for a Stepful scholarship as high as $2,500 based on a variety of factors.
You’ll find out if you’re eligible for a Stepful scholarship when you apply for our pharmacy technician program.
The only requirements to be eligible for our program are that you have a high school diploma or GED and live in any of the following states: AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VT, WI, WY, or Washington D.C.
Payment Plan for Stepful’s Pharmacy Technician Program
If you don’t want to pay for our pharmacy technician program all upfront, we offer a payment plan that spreads your payments out over 18 weeks.
This means you have over 4 months to pay for your tuition with affordable biweekly payments. You can choose your payment plan when you apply for our pharmacy technician program.
We offer this to help Stepful students graduate debt free. It's our believe that pharmacy technician students should not have to take out tens of thousands of dollars in loans to get a good job in healthcare.
Other Scholarships, Grants, & Financial Aid for Stepful’s Pharmacy Technician Program
You may find third-party grants and scholarships that you can use towards Stepful’s pharmacy technician classes.

We also recommend checking organizations in your area—such as local or state governments and local businesses—to see if they offer any scholarships.
Like scholarships, grants don’t have to be repaid and, like scholarships, we recommend using search tools to find grants you may be eligible for and check with local organizations.
Finally, it’s definitely worth checking out your local American Job Center. These organizations provide free help to job seekers, such as tuition reimbursement, career services training, resource centers with free phones and internet, and more.
Pharmacy Tech Program Financial Aid for Military Spouses
If you are a military spouse, you can get free pharmacy technician training through Stepful if you meet certain requirements.
We partnered with the Department of Defense’s MyCAA program which provides up to $2,000 in financial assistance for military spouses looking to become pharmacy technicians through Stepful.
Here’s who is eligible for Stepful’s training programs through the MyCAA:
- Spouses of military members at or below the following pay grades: E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, or O-1 to O-2
- Spouses of military members who are currently on Title 10 military orders. You must be able to start and complete all of your coursework while your spouse is under those orders.
- You have not already used the full $2,000 from MyCAA.
