How does your job guarantee work?

Your coach will work with you to help you find a healthcare job after you obtain your national certification. You get a full tuition refund (minus $59 registration fee) if you don’t get a job offer within 6 months of obtaining your national certification. The phlebotomy and EKG training programs have one week in-person clinical in Manhattan, New York.

What’s the difference between the Medical Administrative Assistant Program and the Medical Office Assistant Program?

There's no difference, both names referred to the same program internally at Stepful. Students take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam offered by the NHA, which is the official name for the certification.

Program preparation and certification are the same for both job titles. Our program teaches students how to perform the most common medical receptionist tasks, including organizing schedules, answering phone calls, and making sure patients are taken care of.

What is the refund policy?

A student who cancels before the first week of class receives all money paid, with the exception of the $59 non-refundable registration fee. Thereafter, the student who cancels receives a prorated refund.
